FARM TOUR, MACHINERY INSPECTION & MORNING TEA
Ben Clift is a 7th generation farmer (3rd generation in cane). His beautiful farm “New Kunghurloo” is situated on the Richmond River and currently grows 190ha of sugar cane, 50ha soybeans and 20ha pecans.
The rest is used for cattle grazing and nature conservation. Meet Ben, his wife Johanna and father David on farm for a firsthand introduction to the NSW sugar industry. Get up close to some of the key farming machinery and equipment used in modern day cane farming and walk amongst the sugarcane and soybean crops on the farm.
A Mother’s Day Morning Tea is included in your tour with a locally made selection of sweet treats. Note: This is a working property, so please wear covered, flat shoes suitable for walking on uneven ground. Amenities are available on site.
